So I have been looking forward to this for many months and I finally came!
What an amazing experience to go on a artist retreat and collaborate and draw for 3 days with 6 other very talented creators.
The workshop was called Cartoon Everything. And as I work toward expanding the publishing side of my artist life/business I thought it would be amazing to spend time with and work with other talented professionals and learn about working as a professional illustrator among all the other ups and downs of living and artists life.
We talked about cartoons. Picture books, puzzle books, children's publishing, comics, how different the industries functions, working with reps and agents... and much much more.
Oh and we drew cartoons!!

Did I mention we had a fire and smores and hikesin the woods and our own private cabin. Amazing food every day. It was pretty spiffy haha!đ
